HCPC registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, qualified to Masters and Post Graduate Certificate level with the Institute in Arts Therapy and Education.
I work with adults experiencing trauma, psychosis, depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, identity issues and bereavement. Before setting up my private practice, I worked in in-patient and outpatient NHS settings in East London and a bereavement service, with clients of varying sexual orientations, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
Alongside my private practice, I work with clients with complex trauma at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.
I use a range of psychological theories, including psychodynamic and person-centred approaches, attachment theory, Gestalt and transactional analysis, to provide an integrative and tailored approach to meet my client’s needs. with a focus on the therapeutic relationship being key to change.
I am particularly interested in working with trauma informed perspectives and the nervous system to help us understand and connect with the body. I believe tuning in to the body and its needs can help us understand how are past and current experiences show up in our lifes everyday. When we gain understanding, we are more empowered to make the changes we want.
I am a textile artist and printmaker with 15 years of experience in arts education. Coming from a mixed heritage and working class background drives me to help build a stronger community through connecting with people and facilitating groups for others to connect. I am passionate in making therapy and the arts accessible and facinataed by the unique ways we all make sense of the world. I use a range of art making processes including visual arts, printmaking, poetry, sand tray, animation, sculpture, body and movement and music.

As an art therapist, I adhere to the UK Council fo Psychotherapy (UKCP) and Health & care professions council (HCPC) Code of Ethics
